Vijay Set to Become Tamil Nadu CM After Governor Gives Green Signal

The line is cleared for Vijay as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Five days of suspense ended. TVK chief Vijay accompanied Governor Rajendra Arlekar at Lok Bhavan on Friday evening and handed over a letter of support from 120 MLAs. Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) has also announced its support along with Left parties and VCK. With this, Vijay’s strength reached 120. Satisfied with this, the Governor gave permission to Vijay to form the government. With this, Vijay is ready to take oath on Saturday itself. Vijay will take oath as Chief Minister tomorrow at 11 am. Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai has already been prepared. It seems that the police is setting up a large-scale bandobast as fans, film and political celebrities are coming on a large scale.

After meeting the Governor, he went to the Left Party offices and met the leaders. Vijay was cordially invited. Vijay thanked the Left leaders for their support.

CPI, CPM, VCK and Muslim League also supported the TVK party. These parties have two MLA seats. With this, Vijay’s strength reached 120. Congress has already announced the support of its five MLAs. This paved the way for the formation of a new government.

There are reports that VCK may get one ministerial post and Congress may get two ministerial posts in the cabinet. Left parties have made it clear that they will not join the cabinet. There are reports that a cabinet can be formed with 20 people.
