Over 70 lakh farmers to benefit as funds are deposited directly into bank accounts
The Government of Telangana has disbursed ₹9,000 crore under the Rythu Bharosa scheme, bringing much-needed relief to farmers across the state. This financial support will benefit approximately 70.11 lakh farmers, covering nearly 1.49 crore acres of agricultural land. Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister stressed the government’s commitment to continuing farmer welfare schemes, despite the state’s challenging financial situation.
“No matter how difficult the circumstances may be, our support for farmers will not stop. We are committed to standing by them,” said Reddy.
