Hyderabad city has been built on the banks of Musi River. Telangana CM Revanth Reddy has visited Davos economic conference to attract major investments into the state. Later, he visited London and there, he met with Ports of London Authority and examined reports about rejuvenation of River Thames.
He stated that by looking at the best possible examples about rejuvenation of rivers, he wants to improve the banks of Musi RIver. He stated that Telangana state has been blessed with Musi River and they should work on conserving its catchment areas. He also stated that by rejuvenating Musi River, they can bring more land under cultivation and solve driniking water issues in rural areas.
He stated that he has Vision 2050 and for that to come true improving Hyderabad on the banks of Musi River is important. Ports of London Authority have extended their support to give every possible help in developing catchment areas and Musi River in coming years. Revanth Reddy has thanked them for explaining the plans implemented by them and for their support.
