Telangana CM Revanth Reddy called PM Narendra Modi as big brother

PM Narendra Modi has visited Adilabad district in Telangana state on 4th March. He inaugurated and dedicated several projects to Nation, worth Rs.56,000 crores. Telangana CM Revanth Reddy and Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan have also attended the event. At the event, PM Modi spoke in Telugu, addressing people who have attended it.

He stated that 800MW capacity NTPC Unit 2 will improve electricity generation capacity of Telangana. He also stated that the rail and road projects will improve connectivity from the state to other areas. PM Modi also drew a parallel with Central Government and Telangana state are 10 years old . He alleged that previous BRS government did not work for the upliftment of the state.

Later, CM Revanth Reddy shocked everyone when is referred to PM Modi, as “Big Brother”. He stated that Telangana state should take inspiration from Gujarat model to develop infrastructure and become a self-reliant and booming economy in India. He asked PM Modi to help Telangana from Central Government and even requested him to release funds for Metro Rail projects.

Revanth Reddy, hailing from Congress, calling PM Narendra Modi from BJP, as “Big Brother” is surprising and shocking because of the animosity between the two parties. Also, PM Modi directly criticised Congress party and its policies in the meeting too. Well, we have to wait and see, how things will change post 2024 general elections.
