cabinet meeting by CM. Chandrababu Naidu was held at the Secretariat and lasted for three hours. During the meeting hours, the cabinet thanked to central government and PM Modi, for approval of several important decisions.
After discussion all agenda issues, CM held a separate meeting with the ministers. During that session, he expressed serious anger over the issue of information leaks. He questioned how important government details and cabinet agenda points are getting leaked even before the meeting.
Chandrababu warns to ministers if any leaks happen again, they might be punish. Also reminded them in past, N.T.Rama Rao had abolished his cabinet due to such similar leaks, and warned that same situation should not be repeat. He strongly declared that strict action will be taken if this happens again.
Apart from this, the CM chandrababu also gave instructions on government schemes:
He asked ministers to create more awareness among people about the ‘Jaladhara’ scheme.
On land passbooks, he directed revenue officials and ministers to visit areas at least four times a month.
He stressed focusing more on the ‘Surya Ghar’ scheme and completing targets on time before next year.
The cabinet also discussed the Women’s Bill that the central government is planning to introduce in Parliament.
In addition to that, there were discussions about conducting municipal elections in the state, possibly of within next 3 to 4 months.
Overall, CM Chandrababu gave a strong warning about information leaks and also provided clear directions on implementing government schemes vey effectively.
