Nara Chandrababu Naidu, TDP supremo, has been working hard to regain power in Andhra Pradesh state after losing in 2019 elections to AP CM YS Jagan. He has decided to form a coalition with Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena and is hoping for BJP also to join them, before 2024 election notification is published.

Both of them have annouced 99 candidates list recently and started conducting public meetings jointly. Now, they have decided to release BC declaration to unite the dominant and oppressed caste sections under one roof. They have conducted BC Jayaho meeting at Mangalagiri and came up with many interesting schemes for BC voters.

At the meeting, addressing public, Pawan Kalyan alleged that AP CM YS Jagan has cheated BCs and they have come up with a big plan to unite and develop with BCs. He opined that BCs should be able to yield power and they have all the future for the same.

Nara Chandrababu Naidu also shared similar thoughts and stated that TDP-Janasena coalition will work for the economical, financial and social upliftment of BCs without fail. They released the declaration with great emphasis on increasing BC individuals in cabinet upon coming to power in 2024 elections.

The Key points announced by TDP-Janasena in their BC Declaration:

  • Introduction of pensions for BC individuals at the age of 50.
  • Increase in monthly pension amount to Rs. 4,000.
  • Establishment of a special law for the protection of BCs.
  • Formation of a Social Justice Review Committee.
  • Allocation of Rs. 1.5 trillion over five years through a BC Sub-Plan, ensuring funds are utilized specifically for BC welfare.
  • Restoration of 34% BC reservation in local institutions.
  • Resolution for 33% BC reservation in legislative bodies.
  • Implementation of 34% reservation across all institutions and nominated positions, with some BC categories being given the opportunity to become co-option members.
  • Establishment of corporations based on population demographics, ensuring funds are allocated proportionately.
  • Allocation of Rs. 10 trillion for BC self-employment initiatives, with Rs. 5 trillion dedicated to the “Adarana” scheme for tools and equipment.
  • Revival of industrial incentives for BCs.
