Nida Khan: It is known that the Nashik TCS conversion case created a sensation across the country. The allegations of high-ranking Muslim employees harassing Hindu employees, se*ually assaulting female employees, and encouraging conversions became a hot topic of controversy. Seven people have already been arrested in this case. Nida Khan, a female employee who is the key accused in the case, has been absconding ever since the affair came to light. She was recently arrested by the Maharashtra Police. Earlier, she claimed that she was pregnant and sought interim bail. However, the court rejected this.
The police had to carry out a major operation to trace Nida Khan. On information that Nida Khan was in Kaiser Colony in Naregaon area of ​​Chatrapati Shambhajinagar, the police conducted surveillance for three to four days and arrested her. Behaving like normal people, they kept a close watch without using police uniform and jeeps. Nida Khan was arrested after ascertaining that she was staying in a rented house with her father, mother, brother and sister-in-law. For this the policymakers used technical analysis and location tracking techniques.
At least 20 police members have been deployed around the house where Nida Khan is staying. The operation was conducted without the knowledge of the local police. It is reported that he is taking legal advice from some other lawyers for his bail. Police took her into custody before filing a bail petition. Police produced Nida Khan before a judge at Sutgirni Chowk on Thursday night and remanded him in transit. After that he was taken to Nasik.
Khan is alleged to have forced several employees at IT giant Tata Consultancy Services’ (TCS) Nashik office to convert. She, who has been working as a ‘process associate’ at TCS since 2021, was suspended last month after facing charges. Investigation revealed that she sent religious literature, videos and Islamic content to the victims to influence them.
