The initiative, established with a $50 million fund, aims to invest in cutting-edge technologies revolutionizing the entertainment industry.
Excitingly, Hollywood superstar Will Smith is reportedly in advanced discussions to join as a partner in this ambitious venture. Vishnu shared that the collaboration is nearing its final stages and hinted at an official announcement soon.
Tarang Ventures will focus on technologies pivotal to the entertainment industry, including OTT platforms, animation, gaming, blockchain, and emerging innovations such as AR, VR, and AI. The venture seeks to leverage these advancements to capitalize on transformative opportunities in the sector. Alongside Vishnu Manchu, other key stakeholders in Tarang Ventures include Aadi Shree, Pradyuman Jhala, Vinay Maheshwari, Devesh Chawla, Satish Kataria, and potentially Will Smith. Investors from both India and Delaware have also shown interest in contributing to the project.

On the film front, Vishnu Manchu is gearing up for his upcoming magnum opus Kannappa, directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh. This big-budget project is nearing the completion of its post-production phase. The film features Vishnu in a pivotal role, with notable performances by Mohan Babu, Sarath Kumar, and guest appearances by stars like Prabhas, Mohanlal, Akshay Kumar, and Kajal Aggarwal.
