War 2 is all set to thrill audiences with a high-voltage face-off between Jr. NTR and Hrithik Roshan—two of Indian cinema’s biggest stars. Produced by Yash Raj Films and directed by Ayan Mukerji, the action-packed film is creating massive buzz ahead of its release on 14 August.
Though the teaser received mixed reactions, the excitement around seeing NTR and Hrithik on screen together remains sky-high. The film is made on a massive scale, with top-notch production values aimed at delivering a Hollywood-like experience.
The Telugu version will be released by producer S Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments, who is also producing NTR’s upcoming film Devara. In a recent interview, Vamsi revealed that NTR’s entry in War 2 is a standout moment. “The screen will tear apart,” he said, building huge anticipation among fans.
When asked why he bought the Telugu rights, Vamsi explained, “Two Indian superstars, NTR and Hrithik, are coming together. I didn’t even wait to watch the film—I just wanted that face-off on screen. That was enough.”
War 2 is shaping up to be one of the biggest pan-India releases of the year. In the Telugu market, it has already sold for a record-breaking price—one of the highest ever for a Hindi-dubbed film.
As fans count down the days, all eyes are on how NTR’s powerful intro and the intense NTR-Hrithik showdown will light up the big screen.
