Special fan screenings began at 9 a.m., a departure from the traditional early morning slots. This change was implemented by the Tamil Nadu government to prioritize public safety, reflecting a thoughtful approach to managing the large crowds associated with Thalapathy Vijay’s films. Although this shift has slightly disappointed fans who are accustomed to watching Vijay’s movies in the early hours, the enthusiasm remains high.

This substantial fee is notable, considering it is equivalent to the budget of approximately 40 smaller films, each with a ₹5 crore budget. The scale of Vijay’s remuneration and the film’s financial success reflect the high regard in which he is held and the strong market presence of his latest release.
