Vijay Deverakonda prepares for Rayalaseema role, learns dialect

Vijay Deverakonda Rayalaseema

Vijay Deverakonda is diving deep into his next role by learning the Rayalaseema dialect for an upcoming film directed by Rahul Sankrityan. The actor, known for his dedication, revealed that the story is set in the Rayalaseema region, and he wants to bring authenticity to the character by speaking in the local tone.

The Telugu star, who entered the industry without any film background, started with small supporting roles before gaining recognition with Pelli Choopulu. His performance in Arjun Reddy turned him into a household name. However, his recent films haven’t matched that success, and he has been facing a rough patch at the box office.

His latest film, Kingdom, has received mixed reviews from audiences. While it has performed slightly better than his recent projects, the final result at the box office will become clearer in the coming days.

During Kingdom promotions, Vijay spoke not only about the film but also about his future projects. Apart from the Rayalaseema-based film, Vijay Deverakonda is also teaming up with director Ravikiran Kola for a movie set against an Andhra backdrop.

Vijay also shared that he and renowned director Sukumar have been planning to work together for a long time. According to Vijay, Sukumar has liked his work since the Arjun Reddy days, and though the project hasn’t started yet, he is confident they will collaborate in the future.

Despite recent setbacks, Vijay remains focused and committed. He said his current priority is completing the films he has already committed to, and his main goal is to deliver quality content that resonates with audiences.

Vijay’s determination to take on challenging roles and work with respected directors shows his continued passion for cinema. Fans are hopeful that his upcoming projects will mark a strong comeback.
