Telugu star Vijay Deverakonda, known for Arjun Reddy and Pelli Choopulu, got emotional at the trailer launch of his upcoming film Kingdom in Tirupati today. The event took place near the famous Venkateswara temple, and fans gathered in large numbers to support the actor.
Vijay spoke with deep emotion, his voice breaking at times. His eyes turned red as he remembered the hard work and long wait for the film. Speaking in the local Rayalaseema accent, he said, “Even if I’ve come late, I’ve come to you all. Watching the trailer with your cheers made me truly happy.”
For this film, Vijay has undergone a major transformation. He now appears with a perfectly fit and toned body. He shared that he put in great effort for Kingdom with the strong hope of delivering a blockbuster.
He told the crowd, “For a year, I’ve thought about nothing but this release. I feel like our Tirupati Lord Venkateswara Swamy has walked beside me. If this time he truly stays with me, I’ll rise to the top.”
Vijay also praised his team, saying they worked with full dedication. He named director Gautham Tinnanuri, music composer Anirudh, editor Naveen Nooli, and producer Naga Vamsi, thanking them all for giving their best. “Even our producer gave back-to-back interviews, never stopping. This film is our life’s work,” he added.
He closed his speech by saying, “Now only two things matter—the blessings of Venkateswara Swamy and your love. With both on my side, no one can stop us. Just four days to go. I’ll see you all in theatres at the end of the month. Until then, Swamy, please look after us.”
The Kingdom trailer launch was attended by the full team, including director Gautham, Anirudh, Naga Vamsi, and other key members of the crew.
