Thalapathy Vijay’s The G.O.A.T trailer: A one man show!

Thalapathy Vijay's G.O.A.T trailer is out now

Thalapathy Vijay for the first time decided to star in a film written and directed by Venkat Prabhu. They both have decided to come up with an action entertainer, The Greatest of All Time – in short The G.O.A.T, in the production of AGS Entertainment. Makers have decided to use a de-aged look for dual role in the film and it has been exciting for the fans and movie-lovers from the day of announcement.

They wanted to see how the technological advancement will bring out Ilayathalapathy along with Thalapathy on screen. The makers have released Thalapathy Vijay’s The G.O.A.T trailer on 17th August and it has taken internet by storm in just few minutes upon release.

Venkat Prabhu, a director known for his care-free and comic heroes along with all sorts of heroic characteristics, created another such fun loving character for Vijay. He was able to open up Ajith Kumar in Mankatha, in a memorable character.

Here, he tried to create eccentric Thalapathy Vijay as a young man and a slightly aged man as well. The movie storyline seems to concentrate on Gandhi, a SATS agent, who is successful in every mission he has been assigned. But in one mission, he will lose his wife and his son, is also pushed to take revenge. Will the older agent try to stop his own son? This looks to be the story from the trailer.

Venkat Prabhu is known for presenting old stories in new template with fun loving characters, as well. While his Maanaadu has completely new premise and interesting scenes, plot wise it did fall back onto known commercial template. The Greatest of All Time also seems to concentrate on presenting Thalapathy Vijay in dual role with many others in supporting roles.

Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, yesteryear actor Mohan and Laila, Sneha are all part of the cast along with Meenakshi Chaudhary. Rumors are aplenty that there are cameos from Sivakarthikeyan and AI built Vijayakanth. Makers also used references of MS Dhoni and CSK IPL match. Looks like Venkat Prabhu has gone all-in to make it an event film for Thalapathy Vijay.

Movie is set to release in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages worldwide on 5th September. From the trailer, we can expect a one man show by Thalapathy Vijay in Venkat Prabhu style. Yuvan Shankar Raja has done a good job in giving futuristic and international score to the movie.
