Makers have decided to go for dual roles for Thalapathy Vijay as father and son, in this one. For the young character, they have decided to go for de-aging. Now, they have revealed this look in the third single, “Spark” released on 3rd August.
The song has been picturised between Meenakshi Chaudhary and Thalapathy Vijay. The makers used a single shot dance portion from the song in the lyrical video. In the portion, Vijay pulled off some typical mannerisms that people identify him with. The look has been garnering big trolls as the de-aging looks a bit artificial.
Even the song and lyrics are garnering trolls due to the dated nature. Yuvan Shankar Raja, the composer, himself sang the song and used familial beats. But the jaded and outdated feeling did leave fans disappointed. On the other hand, Thalapathy Vijay looks are getting trolled too. Makers need a big viral trailer to improve the positive buzz.
