Suriya is coming up with his huge movie, Kanguva. Siva is directing the film and it has been in production from past 2 years. The makers have been working hard to create a new world for this movie and they are releasing it in 16 languages worldwide. While makers have originally planned to release it in April 2024, now they have decided to complete VFX work without any issues and release later half of the year.
As the movie is releasing on Amazon Prime Video, the makers have decided to release a teaser on 19th March. They have shared shots featuring Suriya and Bobby Deol in a pre-historic world. It almost looks like the humans back then have been cannibals as well.
Devi Prasad Prasad’s BGM can be termed as a highlight of this teaser and visuals are fantastic. Suriya has decided to take a different route from regular films post continued flops in his career after Singham 2. He seems to have asked Siva as well, to think differently. The teaser gives us a look into Kanguva world and it seems like makers wanted to dvelve into Baahubali’s Kalakeya tribe’s history to create this.
Disha Patani is playing leading lady role and Studio Green is producing the film. Tamil media reports state that the movie is expected to release in two parts and Suriya has completed his work for both. The actor has also decided to give ample time to Sudha Kongara to complete script of Puranaanooru film and he might announce his next, quite soon.
