Suriya44 has garnered huge hype as the actor has decided to join hands with Karthik Subbaraj. After Jigarthanda DoubleX, the celebrated writer-director is expected to deliver huge blockbuster with Suriya. The actor himself is producing the film along with his wife Jyothika. They are producing the film on 2D Entertainment production house, after Soorarai Pottru, Jai Bhim.
Suriya won National Award for his performance in Soorarai Pottru. Now, the actor finished first part of his upcoming film, Kanguva and he started shooting for Suriya44. The team is currently shooting for the film in Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Karthik Subbaraj, who specializes in creating strong gangster dramas, is presenting Suriya as “The One”.
The team has wished Suriya on his birthday with a creative sequence introducing his character. The character look and design are interesting. Also, the character design is close to Suriya’s Rolex character from Lokesh’s Vikram, as gangster. But Karthik Subbaraj did give a different design in Suriya44 as a gangster from Rolex.
While they have already introduced his character as a person coming from a different native, this one shows him as a gangster. Santhosh Narayanan’s BGM for Suriya44 video is a plus.
