SS Rajamouli hopes to complete Mahesh Babu film SSMB29 quicker than others

SS Rajamouli has become one of the biggest directors of Indian Cinema with Baahubali and RRR. From being known as most successful director of Telugu Cinema, he has now become Indian director with worldwide recognition. RRR has won Oscar for Best Original Song with super popular “Naatu Naatu”. The movie has become a huge blockbuster in Japan, as well.

Distributors of the movie in Japan have decided to celebrate the second anniversary of the release of the film with a special screening. Movie released on 24th March 2022 worldwide in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam languages. It released in Japanese language on 21st October 2022, in the nation. He has greeted by fans of his movies like Baahubali and RRR, warmly.

He addressed the fans and revealed that his next movie with Superstar Mahesh Babu, SSMB29, is in pre-production stage. He stated that the script writing process is over and pre-production works are going on. Later, he also revealed that he hopes to finish shooting of the movie quicker than other films like RRR and Baahubali, which took 10 years, combined.

SS Rajamouli took 2 years to complete the movie scripting process and he wants to plan his next movie to the tee. He also revealed that he changed Jenny, Olivia Morris, character’s path and decided to keep her alive. In original script, he revealed that she helps Bheem, played by NTR, to escape the jail and Ram, played by Ram Charan, gets arrested.

After Bheem helps Ram to escape like now, in the movie, her uncle kills Jenny and both of them fight against British soldiers with amped up emotion. The director revealed that he wanted a happy ending and hence, decided to keep Jenny alive. In the conversation with fans, he revealed that he has plans for RRR 2 but did not confirm when he will start work on it.

Japan fans have shown great love to the director during his interaction and one 83-year old woman gifted him 1000 origami cranes. The director gleefully accepted and looked super thrilled looking at love of Japanese cinema fans towards his films.
