My Efforts Pale in Comparison to Our Army’s Struggles: Sivakarthikeyan

Sivakarthikeyan

Hero Sivakarthikeyan recently expressed that his hard work for the upcoming film Amaran pales in comparison to the challenges faced by soldiers stationed at the borders. The film, directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, is produced by Kamal Haasan’s Sony Pictures Films International and features Sai Pallavi as the female lead.

Sivakarthikeyan, who recently won the Best Actor (Critics) award for his remarkable performance in Maaveeran, shared his insights about his new film during an event. When asked about his experience with Amaran, he revealed an intriguing aspect of his preparation for the role of an army officer. “Initially, it was very difficult to play the role of an army officer. I went to Kashmir and spent three days with our soldiers. I observed their daily routines, from the time they woke up in the morning until they went to bed. After witnessing their struggles, I felt that my hard work for the film and my role was very little,” he stated.
