A shooting accident happened on the film sets starring Adivi Sesh. In recent times, many film shoots have been delayed due to various reasons like VFX work, post-production issues, or on-set accidents. Unfortunately, shooting accidents seem to be happening more frequently lately.
Just a few days ago, a fire on the set of Kantara 2 halted its filming. Soon after, even Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s film King faced a similar setback due to an accident on its set. Now, yet another film has been affected.
A mishap occurred on the sets of Decoy, a bilingual action film starring Telugu actor Adivi Sesh and actress Mrunal Thakur. According to reports, both actors suffered injuries after accidentally falling during the shoot. The accident took place while filming an action sequence.
Even though they were hurt, Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur continued with the shoot and completed the scene. Sources say the injuries were not serious, but they were still painful.
This isn’t the first time an accident has happened on the Decoy set. In the past, Mrunal Thakur had even shared photos of her injuries from a different on-set incident.
The film is being directed by Shanelle Deo and produced by Supriya Yarlagadda under the Annapurna Studios banner. It is being shot in both the Telugu and Hindi languages.
So far, there has been no official statement from the film team regarding the latest accident.
With such repeated accidents across various film sets, fans and industry members are becoming concerned about on-set safety measures. Let’s hope proper steps are taken to avoid such incidents in the future.
