Sridevi Movies, a production house renowned for its discerning taste and diverse range of films, has successfully wrapped up the shooting for its latest project, Sarangapani Jathakam. This marks the third collaboration between the production house and acclaimed director Mohanakrishna Indraganti, following the successes of Gentleman and Sammohanam. The film stars the versatile actor Priyadarshi in the lead role.
Producer Sivalenka Krishna Prasad expressed his excitement about the film, noting that they released the first look and title poster on Priyadarshi’s birthday, which garnered an enthusiastic response from fans and audiences alike. “The film poses a thought-provoking question: Is our future predetermined, or can we shape it with our will?” Prasad said. He emphasized that Sarangapani Jathakam is a lighthearted comedy that thoughtfully explores this theme.
The shooting process for Sarangapani Jathakam was completed over five schedules, filmed in various locations including Hyderabad, Ramoji Film City, and Visakhapatnam. The producer announced that dubbing for the film is set to begin on September 12th.

Sivalenka Krishna Prasad shared his aspiration to create a full-fledged entertaining film, recalling his dream of collaborating with the legendary director Jandhyala. Although Jandhyala had previously penned dialogues for two successful films—Chinnodu – Peddodu and Aditya 369—he never had the opportunity to direct a project under the Sridevi Movies banner. “Now, with Sarangapani Jathakam, we are thrilled to fill that void. We are confident that this film will be a memorable addition to our portfolio,” he stated.
The producer also assured that Sarangapani Jathakam is being made without compromising on budget or technical quality, promising an entertaining experience for audiences. With the collaboration of talented individuals and the commitment to excellence, Sridevi Movies aims to deliver a film that resonates with viewers and leaves a lasting impression.
