Samantha Ruth Prabhu has shared that she is finally in a happy and peaceful phase of her life after letting go of her old ways and focusing on what truly matters to her. Speaking at the AIMA Leadership Conclave, the South Indian star said she feels “the happiest I have ever been” and no longer chases fame or box-office success.

Samantha explained that her health struggles and personal challenges made her rethink her priorities. After being diagnosed with myositis, a long-term muscle condition, she began to see life differently. “I have detached from my past self,” she said, adding that she now values peace, health, and authenticity over popularity.

The actress admitted that earlier in her career, she was anxious about how her films performed and what people thought of her. Now, she says, she is no longer tied to that pressure. “I’ve moved beyond the fragile Fridays,” she remarked, referring to the tension actors feel before a movie’s release.

Samantha has also made strong professional choices that match her beliefs. She recently turned down several brand endorsements worth crores because they conflicted with her personal ethics. She said earning less doesn’t bother her if she can live with integrity.

The actress is preparing to return to the screen with Maa Inti Bangaram, a film she is also producing, and the web series Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom, directed by Raj and DK. Both projects are expected to highlight her more grounded and thoughtful approach to acting.

Fans have praised Samantha’s honesty and strength, calling her journey an inspiring example of resilience. By choosing peace and purpose over pressure and perfection, Samantha Ruth Prabhu is showing that true success goes beyond fame — it lies in finding contentment within.
