Ex-Girlfriend of Salman Khan Speaks Out on Blackbuck Controversy

Salman Khan Ex-Girlfriend

Bollywood Star Hero Salman Khan has recently made headlines due to receiving death threats from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. This troubling situation has led to an increase in security measures for the Bollywood superstar, especially following the murder of Baba Siddique. Amidst these developments, actress Somy Ali, who is also Salman’s ex-girlfriend, has shared her insights regarding both Salman and Lawrence Bishnoi.

In her recent statements, Somy reflected on her experiences during their relationship, particularly highlighting Salman’s love for hunting. She recounted how she would often accompany him on outdoor shoots but chose to avoid hunting expeditions. “I used to run away from animals as soon as I saw them because I didn’t like hunting,” she admitted. Somy recalled that Salman would joke about her presence, saying, “I won’t take you hunting, or else they will run away because of you.”

Somy further addressed the controversy surrounding Salman’s past hunting incident involving blackbucks, an animal revered by the Bishnoi community. She argued that Salman was not aware of the cultural significance of blackbucks to the Bishnoi people and, therefore, should not feel compelled to apologize for his actions. “If you do something unknowingly, you should apologize. But that’s not true in this case,” she stated, defending him against accusations of arrogance.

Despite public perceptions of Salman as a star with a strong personality, Somy emphasized that he has a good reputation in the industry. She clarified that she has no current contact with Salman or his family and expressed her disinterest in causing harm to anyone in Bollywood or Hollywood, reinforcing her belief that “violence is never a solution.”

Somy elaborated on the specifics of the hunting incident, noting that it took place on a large private property of 80 acres. She pointed out that while Salman has been in the spotlight for hunting blackbucks, many others partake in hunting in similar areas without facing the same scrutiny. “Has no one else hunted blackbucks?” she questioned, implying that the focus on Salman might be disproportionate.

In her conversations with Salman during the incident, he reportedly expressed that he was unaware of the Bishnoi community’s reverence for blackbucks. Somy reiterated her hope that the Bishnoi community would recognize that he did not know about their cultural practices. As the situation unfolds, the discussions surrounding Salman Khan, Lawrence Bishnoi, and the past hunting incident continue to attract significant media attention.
