Rukmini Vasanth is pinning all her hopes on her role in Kantara: Chapter One after recent disappointments in her career. The actress, who made her debut in Kannada cinema and entered Telugu films with Saptasagaralu Dati, faced a setback when her film Appudo Ippudo Eppudo failed to make an impact at the box office. She had high expectations that the movie would bring her more opportunities, but it did not meet her hopes.

Following that, Rukmini Vasanth starred in Madras, directed by A.R. Murugadoss and featuring Shiva Karthikeyan. The actress had placed her confidence in this project as well, expecting it to boost her career. Unfortunately, Madras turned out to be a commercial failure, leaving Rukmini once again disappointed.

Now, her focus is firmly on Kantara: Chapter One, directed by Rishab Shetty. The film is set to release on 2 October, and the recently launched trailer has generated significant excitement. Fans have praised the visuals, VFX, background music, and lead performances, raising expectations for the film. Rukmini plays the role of Yuvarani, a character at the heart of a love story between her and a tribal warrior. As a period film, it has the potential to give her the recognition she has been seeking, and she is placing her hopes squarely on this role.

Looking ahead, Rukmini also has roles in Dragon, starring NTR and directed by Prashanth Neel, as well as Toxic, featuring Yash from the KGF films. With these projects in the pipeline, fans are optimistic that she could finally achieve the success she deserves.

For now, all eyes are on Rukmini’s performance in Kantara: Chapter One, where expectations are high and optimism is renewed for the young actress.
