Rangasthalam

Ram Charan’s blockbuster film Rangasthalam, directed by Sukumar, is finally set to premiere on Hindi television. The movie, which was released in 2018, was a huge success in Telugu and won hearts across the country. Charan’s powerful performance as Chitti Babu earned him critical praise, and the film became a fan favourite.

Though Rangasthalam had all the elements of a pan-India film, it never received a full-scale Hindi release at the time. Many now wonder why Sukumar didn’t plan for a bigger reach back then, especially since the film had the potential to create waves in the North as well.
However, Rangasthalam did find some Hindi-speaking fans through its dubbed version online. It helped introduce director Sukumar’s unique style to the Bollywood audience. Later, with Pushpa, Sukumar cemented his place as a mass director in the Hindi belt. The film’s characters, dialogues, and direction were widely loved, especially in North India.

Now, years after its release, Rangasthalam is finally making its way to the small screen in Hindi. The film will be aired on the Goldmines channel on Sunday, August 24. This premiere is expected to bring a fresh wave of excitement for Hindi audiences who missed it in theatres.
Fans can look forward to an intense story, strong performances, and soulful music by Devi Sri Prasad. The combination of Charan’s acting, Sukumar’s direction, and the music made Rangasthalam a standout film in Telugu cinema.

While many feel the film should have come to Hindi TV even before RRR, it’s still a moment to celebrate. North Indian fans of Ram Charan now have the chance to experience this hit on their home screens.

This August, Rangasthalam promises to entertain a whole new audience.
