Rakesh Bedi Slams Pakistan Politician’s Comments
One of the most liked parts of Dhurandhar was the role of Jameel Jamali played by Rakesh Bedi. While there was no official confirmation about the adaptation of this particular role in the story, Pakistan Politician Nabeel Gabol took this personally, just because he looks similar to the Jameel Jamali in the film and here in the film, this guy is an Indian spy. He made many comments on the film and also said ”I will make a film with the name, Lyari Ka Gabbar and set the record straight”.
As a response to it, Rakesh Bedi hilariously said, “I would like to say, ‘I love you, Nabeel Gabol.’ I love you very much, and it’s a coincidence that I resemble you a little bit. But I can’t help it. Neither your father came to India, nor my father went to Pakistan. But aside from our looks, we look alike; we have a slight heaviness in our bodies, which makes us look alike. I even wore similar clothes in the film, so we looked alike. Other than that there is no similarity between me and him.”
“My character is not based on Nabeel Gabol. Jameel Jamali is inspired by many such politicians in Pakistan.” He further stated.
Dhurandhar 2, has now officially entered 1000 crore club in India. This film has been shattering the records for a while now and the new milestone just hit hard. Dhurandhar: The Revenge has colleced Rs. 28.75 crore on day 18th of release and this sums up to the total to Rs. 1,013.77 crore net at Indian box office. Dhurandhar: The Revenge has become the third highest grossing Indian film
