Superstar Rajinikanth is gearing up to create a new sensation at the box office with his 173rd film. The latest updates on social media about Rajini’s ‘Thalivar 173‘ have become a hot topic in Kollywood. The news that a huge combination like Rajinikanth-Kamal Haasan-Shankar is going to be in this movie is making the fans excited. An interesting news is doing the rounds in Filmnagar circles regarding this crazy project. Legendary director Shankar is heavily rumored to be playing the villain of Rajinikanth in this film.
When Shankar was approached for the role of the powerful villain in the film, he seems to have responded positively. In the past, the Rajinikanth-Shankar combination had produced blockbusters like Robo and Shivaji. Now the fans are happy that if both of them face off as hero-villains, the screen will shake for sure. On another note, the buzz is that world hero Kamal Haasan is going to play a crucial guest role in the film. If this is true then after almost 4 decades these two giants are going to appear in the same movie. Kamal Haasan is producing this film under his own banner ‘Raj Kamal Films International’ with a huge budget. The film was directed by CB Chakraborty earlier, but now it is Ashwin Marimuthu. Rockstar Anirudh Ravichander is providing the music for it. It is said that more than 80 different looks are being designed for Rajinikanth’s character for this film. Expectations are already sky high for this action entertainer which is currently in pre-production works. But the official announcement about Shankar playing the villain, Kamal’s cameo, director etc. is yet to come.
