The much-anticipated sequel to Pushpa: The Rise, titled Pushpa 2: The Rule, is finally set to hit theatres on December 5, 2024. The announcement was made during a press conference in Hyderabad, where the makers confirmed that overseas premieres are scheduled for December 4. After several postponements, fans of Allu Arjun are eagerly awaiting the continuation of the story that took the box office by storm in 2021.
Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2 will see Allu Arjun reprise his iconic role as Pushpa Raj, with Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil returning to play pivotal characters. The first part, Pushpa: The Rise, became a massive success, known for its raw storytelling, intense action, and Arjun’s powerful performance, making Pushpa 2 one of the most awaited films of the year.

During the press meet, producer Naveen Yerneni of Mythri Movie Makers hinted at the possibility of a third installment. According to Yerneni, the storyline for Pushpa 3 is already in development, and if the second film performs well, they are ready to move forward with the third part.
“We already have the plot for Pushpa 3 sketched out. If the audience shows the same love for Pushpa 2 as they did for the first part, there’s no stopping us from going ahead with the third film,” Yerneni stated.
Pushpa 2 promises to continue the high-octane drama and action that made the first film such a hit, delving deeper into the character of Pushpa Raj and his battles for dominance. The production team, including Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, has spared no effort to ensure the sequel exceeds expectations.
The anticipation for Pushpa 2 has been building for months, with fans eagerly waiting to see how the story unfolds after the dramatic cliffhanger in Pushpa: The Rise. With its official release date now locked in, the countdown to December 2024 begins, and the stage is set for another box-office juggernaut from Allu Arjun and team.
If the film delivers as expected, Pushpa 3 could soon be on the horizon, turning this saga into a major cinematic franchise.
