Kollywood star hero Surya is all set to take center stage in the upcoming fantasy action film “Kanguva”, directed by Siva. Produced jointly by UV Creations and Studio Green, the highly anticipated film is scheduled for a worldwide release on November 14. Producer KE Gnanavel has recently shared intriguing insights about the project, particularly emphasizing the innovative use of artificial intelligence (AI) in its production.
In a recent interaction with fans on the X platform, Gnanavel revealed that Kanguva will be released in eight languages, showcasing its broad international appeal. He confirmed that Surya has provided his voice for the Tamil version, while dubbing for other languages will be conducted with the assistance of AI. This groundbreaking approach marks the first time AI has been employed for dubbing in Kollywood. Gnanavel noted that AI was also used for voice modifications in Amitabh Bachchan’s role in the film Vettaiyan. “We are optimistic that this innovative approach will yield successful results,” he stated.
In addition to major Indian languages, Kanguva will be made available in English, French, and Spanish, with announcements for the Chinese and Japanese release dates expected soon.

The film has already created significant buzz, with the producers aiming to achieve box office earnings exceeding ₹1000 crore. Gnanavel revealed that Parts 2 and 3 are already prepared and will be released based on the success of the first installment. He expressed confidence that Kanguva will elevate the standards of Indian cinema, highlighting the importance of both emotions and action in the film’s narrative.
Currently, the shooting of Kanguva is progressing rapidly, with reports indicating that the story revolves around a brave character named Kanga. Surya will display his versatility by portraying six different avatars throughout the film. The cast also features Disha Patani as the leading lady, with Bobby Deol playing the antagonist, alongside notable performances by Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, and Kovai Sarala in significant roles.
With its innovative use of technology and an engaging storyline, Kanguva is poised to be a landmark film in the fantasy action genre. Fans and audiences eagerly await its release next month.
