Prabhas mania goes viral with epic fan-made poster wall

Prabhas

Pan-India star Prabhas has always enjoyed a unique craze across the country, but a recent gesture from his fans in Punjab has taken everyone by surprise. A long wall alongside a highway in Punjab was completely covered with posters of every single film Prabhas has acted in, from his debut movie to the upcoming release Kalki 2898 AD.

What amazed many was the fact that the posters were all in Telugu, even though most of Prabhas’ earlier films were not released in Hindi. This clearly shows that the love for the star goes beyond language barriers. These posters were put up by a group identifying themselves as Prabhas Fans Association, Punjab, proudly displaying their admiration.

Fans from the South Indian film industry were stunned by the gesture, as such large-scale fan activities are rare in northern states for southern stars. Even Bollywood heroes don’t often receive this kind of devotion outside of their regions. But Prabhas seems to be a true exception. His image and popularity have crossed regional and even national borders, with massive followings in countries like Japan and China as well.

This is not the first time a southern star has made waves in the north. Earlier, actor Balakrishna’s fandom was seen during the Kumbh Mela, where buses in the north displayed posters of his film Akhanda. However, what happened in Punjab for Prabhas seems even bigger in scale, cementing his place as a national icon.

Both stars are currently busy with major upcoming projects. Prabhas is working on The Raja Saab and Paurushpur (Pauji), while Balakrishna is filming Akhanda 2. With fans across states and countries, their reach continues to grow stronger every day.
