Following the success of “Devara,” actor N.T. Rama Rao Jr. (NTR) is riding high and is now preparing to step into the limelight for “War 2.” This pan-India film features Hrithik Roshan in the lead role and is directed by Ayan Mukerji, with Yash Raj Films producing the project. NTR has already completed a schedule for the film and is now gearing up to return to the sets.
Reports indicate that filming for the new schedule is set to commence in the second week of this month, with NTR expected to join the production during the third week. There are plans to shoot a song featuring both NTR and Hrithik in a specially constructed set in Mumbai. Additionally, it is anticipated that the action sequences will start filming in November, aiming for the film’s release next year.

The positive reception of “Devara: Part 1” has significantly heightened expectations for its sequel, “Devara: Part 2.” In light of this, NTR recently addressed questions about when the second installment would begin production. He revealed that some scenes for Part 2 were filmed during the shoot for the first part. With the success of the initial film, NTR expressed a heightened sense of responsibility, stating that the sequel will be even better than the first.
He emphasized the importance of taking the necessary time to ensure that the film meets audience expectations. “We already have a story in place, and we’re working on refining it. Koratala Shiva has put in a lot of effort for this project, and I’ve suggested he take a break of about a month and a half. Once he returns from his holiday, we will begin the work on the second part,” NTR explained.
As anticipation builds for both “War 2” and “Devara: Part 2,” NTR’s commitment to delivering quality cinema continues to resonate with fans and industry insiders alike.
