Tollywood actor Nithiin has been struggling to find a proper hit in recent years. His last solid success came with Bheeshma, but since then, none of his films have managed to impress at the box office. Maestro received a mixed response, while Macherla Niyojakavargam and Extra Ordinary Man turned out to be disasters. Even Robinhood, directed by Venky Kudumula who earlier delivered the hit Chalo, failed to meet expectations. Most recently, Thammudu under Venu Sriram’s direction ended as a big flop, which further damaged Nithiin’s market.

With so many setbacks, the actor is now determined to bounce back strongly. As part of this effort, Nithiin is set to collaborate again with director Vikram K. Kumar, who gave him one of his career’s biggest blockbusters, Ishq. Their new project is reportedly titled Swaari.

Industry sources reveal that the film is already locked, with Vikram Kumar focusing not only on sports elements but also on relationships and human emotions. This balance of drama and emotion is expected to strike a chord with audiences. Nithiin is hopeful that just as Ishq once changed his career path, Swaari will help him return to winning ways.

The film will be produced by Niranjan Reddy, who recently backed the pan-Indian success HanuMan. With such an experienced team on board, expectations are high that this film could put Nithiin back on the success track.

Earlier, while hinting about this project, Nithiin mentioned that if everything falls into place and the story connects with the audience, Swaari could become a film that Telugu cinema would feel proud of. Given the strong track record of the Nithiin–Vikram Kumar combination, industry circles believe the film has good chances of creating another beautiful love story after Ishq.

After several failures, fans are now waiting eagerly to see if Vikram Kumar can once again deliver the hit that Nithiin needs. Swaari will be closely watched as a potential turning point in the actor’s career.
