Actress Nidhhi Agerwal has found herself at the centre of controversy after being spotted in a vehicle bearing an Andhra Pradesh government board during a private store launch event in Bhimavaram. Photographs and videos of the actress travelling in the car went viral online, prompting a wave of criticism on social media.
Many questioned why a government vehicle, which is typically reserved for officials or political leaders, was used to transport Nidhhi Agerwal who is a film star to a commercial function. Some social media users expressed surprise and disapproval, suggesting that such use of public resources was inappropriate.
Addressing the issue, Nidhhi Agerwal issued a clarification via her X account, stating that she had no role in arranging the vehicle and that it was organised by the event hosts. “Some people are criticising me, claiming that officials arranged this for me. This is false information. No government official sent a vehicle for me. It was simply the car provided by the organisers,” she explained.
She added that it was her responsibility to share the truth with her fans and thanked them for their continued love and support.
Nidhhi Agerwal was recently seen in Hari Hara Veera Mallu, in which she played a key role alongside Pawan Kalyan. Although the pan-India release generated significant anticipation, it failed to achieve the expected box-office numbers.
The actress is now gearing up for her next major release, Raja Saab, starring Prabhas and directed by Maruthi. With the project in its final stages, fans are eagerly awaiting to see her on-screen again.
While the government vehicle incident has sparked debate, Nidhhi’s prompt clarification seems to have calmed the situation for now, shifting focus back to her upcoming work in the film industry.
