The Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce has a new leadership team after elections concluded in Hyderabad on Sunday. Members from across the film industry gathered to vote for the President, General Secretary, and the executive committee for the next two years.

The polling, which took place at the Film Chamber venue, saw enthusiastic participation from producers, distributors, exhibitors, and studio representatives. More than 3,000 members cast their votes, reflecting the strong interest and importance of these elections for the Telugu film industry.

D. Suresh Babu was elected as the new President of the Film Chamber. He will lead the organisation for the 2025–27 term. Naga Vamsi was chosen as Vice-President, and Ashok Kumar was elected General Secretary. The election also filled other important positions, including Joint Secretaries and Treasurer, creating a complete executive team ready to take charge.

The elections were primarily contested between two panels, the Progressive Panel and the Mana Panel. The Progressive Panel won a majority of seats, securing the top positions, while the Mana Panel managed to win several committee roles but did not achieve the highest offices.

Many well-known figures from the Telugu film industry were elected as committee members, ensuring broad representation of different sectors. Observers noted that the voting process was smooth, orderly, and peaceful, highlighting the professionalism and dedication of the members.

The new leadership team is expected to focus on important issues affecting the industry, including support for smaller producers, better coordination among producers, distributors, exhibitors, and studios, and promoting overall growth and unity in the Telugu film sector.

Industry members expressed optimism about the new team’s plans and leadership. There is hope that this new executive committee will bring positive changes, strengthen the industry’s structure, and address challenges effectively.

With a fresh team at the helm, the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce is preparing to begin its term with a focus on collaboration, development, and the continued success of Tollywood in the coming years.
