Veteran actor Naresh believes his upcoming Telugu film Beauty will strike a deep chord with audiences, especially daughters. The film, releasing on 19 September, explores the rare and emotional bond between fathers and daughters.
Speaking about the film, Naresh said: “We see many stories about mothers and sons, but very few films show the love and pain between fathers and daughters. While working on Beauty, I felt emotions I never experienced before. If daughters don’t think of their fathers after watching this film, you can question me.”
Beauty also stars Vasuki in a key role, with Ankit Koya and Neelakhi as the lead pair. Directed by JSS Vardhan and produced by Vijay Paul Reddy Adidala and Umesh Kumar Bansal, the film has already created buzz through its teaser, trailer and songs.
Naresh praised the story written by Subbu and the realistic treatment given by Vardhan. “Audiences today want organic storytelling, not forced drama. Beauty has both entertainment and emotion, told naturally. The interval twist will surprise viewers, and the second half is packed with heart,” he said.
Actress Vasuki shared that the story touched her as a mother. “When I showed it to my daughter, she connected strongly. The film is about parents understanding children instead of controlling them. Every parent will see their own family in this story,” she said.
Both actors praised Ankit Koya’s performance, calling him the surprise of the film. They added that Beauty reflects the changing attitudes of today’s generation towards marriage, live-in relationships and responsibility, while still being suitable for the whole family to watch together.
With its focus on love, family and generational bonds, Beauty aims to move audiences and remind daughters of the special place fathers hold in their lives.
