The narrative of “Saripodhaa Sanivaaram” centers around Surya, portrayed by Nani, who has struggled with anger issues since childhood. To help him manage his anger, his mother, Chhaya Devi (played by Abhirami), makes a promise on her deathbed that profoundly impacts his life. From that moment on, Surya resolves to control his anger throughout the week, allowing himself to express it only on Saturdays. According to the story, the events of the week will be recorded like Chitraguptu, but will “burn like Yama” on Saturdays. This unique premise leads to a series of conflicts within his family, affecting his father (Sai Kumar) and sister (Aditi).

Surya works as a diligent employee in NLIC, under the supervision of CI Dayanand (played by J. Sun). However, Dayanand has a complicated relationship with his brother, Kurmanand (Murali Sharma), which adds another layer of tension to the narrative. As the story unfolds, viewers will learn how Surya’s struggles with his anger intersect with Dayanand’s challenges and what repercussions arise from their familial feuds. Additionally, the entry of Charulatha (Priyanka Mohan) into their lives adds complexity to the unfolding drama. This gripping storyline promises to keep audiences engaged as they explore themes of family, conflict, and personal growth.
