Mrunal Thakur is currently busy promoting her upcoming film Dacoit: A Love story with Adivi Sesh. During a conversation, Mrunal Thakur spoke about why she is not doing back to back films, even after being at the peak of her career in terms of fame.
“Trust me, it’s such a tempt when the other filmmakers reach out to me. The package is fantastic, but with a big, heavy heart I have to say no. Because I feel the benchmark that Sita Mahalakshmi (Sita Ramam) and Yashna (Hi Nanna) have set, I have to live up to that. Laalach buri bala hai. So sometimes, no matter how big the opportunity is, I have to respectfully say ‘Sir, I will wait for the right film’. And that’s what I have been doing,”
Another interesting fact about this film is, Dacoit: A love story is said to be shifting Adivi sesh from thriller genre. As Adivi Sesh is known for the thriller genre that he had been part of, for a long time. Adivi sesh has made it clear that Dacoit is a love story and the main emotion that drives the film here is ‘Love’. Dacoit: A love story is all set to hit the big screens on 10th of April, 2026.
