Bollywood director Mohit Suri, known for blockbuster films like Aashiqui 2, Ek Villain, and Awarapan, has publicly thanked Telugu filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga for supporting his latest film, Saiyaara. The post has gone viral and is now a hot topic in the film industry.

Saiyaara, directed by Suri, was released on 18 July as a small-budget film but has surprised everyone with its strong performance. It received a positive response from both audiences and critics, and within a week, the movie collected ₹150 crore at the box office.

Interestingly, even before the film’s release, it was Sandeep Reddy Vanga who showed confidence in Saiyaara. After watching the trailer, he praised it on social media and called it “magic created by Mohit Suri.” He also promised to watch the film on its first day, first show.

Mohit Suri, touched by the support, shared a heartfelt message for Vanga. He said that Vanga believed in Saiyaara when it was still an unknown project. Even though they had never met, Vanga posted about the film and encouraged audiences to watch it. Suri also mentioned that he admires Vanga as a director and loves the way he makes films. He added that he respects Vanga for always speaking his mind and said it’s an honour to follow in the footsteps of someone like him.

Mohit Suri ended his post by saying, “I will always be your fan,” showing his deep respect and gratitude towards the Telugu director.
The gesture is being praised by fans, especially as it’s rare to see Bollywood directors publicly thanking Tollywood filmmakers. Many feel this shows a positive shift in the relationship between the two film industries.
