Malaysian police have announced strict rules for the upcoming Jana Nayagan audio launch and Thalapathy Thiruvizha concert starring popular Tamil actor Vijay. The authorities have clearly stated that the event must remain purely for entertainment and that no political activities will be allowed.

The grand event is scheduled to take place on 27 December at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium in Kuala Lumpur. Around 90,000 people are expected to attend, making it one of the biggest Indian film events ever held in Malaysia. Tickets for the show were sold in different price categories, and many sections were sold out soon after sales began.

Malaysian police officials said that permission for the programme was given only as an entertainment event. As a result, political speeches, slogans, banners, flags, posters or symbols are strictly banned. Supporters are also not allowed to display party-related materials or raise political messages, either inside the stadium or in nearby areas. The rules also apply to social media activities during the event.

The police warned that anyone who breaks these rules will face strict action. Extra security arrangements have been made to control the large crowd and to ensure public safety. Police officers will be deployed in and around the venue throughout the programme.

The strict instructions come at a time when Vijay has recently announced his entry into politics by launching his own party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam. This has raised concerns that fans or party supporters might use the event to promote political messages. Malaysian authorities have made it clear that such actions will not be tolerated.

Event organisers have assured the police that they will fully follow all guidelines. They said the audio launch and concert are meant only to celebrate cinema and Vijay’s journey as an actor. They have also appealed to fans to cooperate and enjoy the programme peacefully.

Jana Nayagan is directed by H Vinoth and is one of the most awaited Tamil films. It is expected to release during the Pongal season next year. Many reports suggest that this could be Vijay’s final film before he focuses fully on his political career.

Fans are now eagerly waiting for the event, hoping for a smooth and memorable celebration without any trouble.
