Super Star Rajinikanth has recently overcome health issues and was discharged from the hospital on Thursday night. His recovery comes amidst various rumors regarding his well-being, prompting Lokesh Kanagaraj, the director of Rajinikanth’s upcoming film “Coolie,” to address the speculation.

Lokesh firmly stated that the circulating reports about Rajinikanth’s health are unfounded. “There is no truth to the news making rounds online. About a month ago, during the Vizag schedule, Rajinikanth informed us that he needed to undergo surgery. We managed to complete the essential shooting portions related to him by September 28. He was admitted to the hospital on the 30th, and I’ve spoken with him since then. His health is stable, and it is more important to us than any shooting schedule. Therefore, I request that news be reported only after a full understanding of the situation,” Lokesh explained. He also mentioned that Rajinikanth is expected to return to the film set after October 15.

The film, marking Rajinikanth’s 171st project, is being directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, who previously worked on “Leo.” “Coolie” is touted as an action thriller centered around gold smuggling and features a stellar cast that includes Nagarjuna, Upendra, Soubin Shahir, Shruti Haasan, and Sathyaraj. In this project, Rajinikanth will portray the role of Deva, while Nagarjuna will play Simon.

Rajinikanth was admitted to a prominent hospital in Chennai on September 30, where doctors discovered swelling in the main blood vessel leading from his heart. Following treatment using a transcatheter method, a stent was implanted to address the issue. After a successful recovery, he was discharged from the hospital, but medical professionals have advised him to rest for several weeks.

As fans await his return to the screen, the focus remains on Rajinikanth’s health and well-being, underscoring the deep concern and support from both the film industry and his devoted followers.
