Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon is set to star in her latest film, Do Patthi, a mystery thriller directed by Shashank Chaturvedi, which is scheduled for release on Netflix on October 25. As part of the promotional activities for the film, Kriti has been actively engaging with the media, discussing various topics, including her sister Nupur Sanon and their experiences in the film industry.
In a recent interview, Kriti opened up about the challenges she faces due to comparisons made between her and her sister. She expressed her frustration over how relatives often treat them differently, leading to feelings of anger and disappointment. Kriti stated, “Nupur and I have a lot of fun together and share everything. She has recently made her acting debut and is striving to establish herself in diverse roles. However, since we are both in the same field, relatives tend to compare us, behaving one way with me and another with her. I have often felt anger over their behavior. Why should we be compared? She has just stepped into the industry, and when I started, she was very young. It has been almost ten years since I came here, so how can they compare us?”
Despite the challenges, Kriti praised her sister, saying that Nupur is a strong person who does not let such comparisons affect her. Nupur Sanon, who made her debut in the Telugu film Tiger Nageswara Rao, is currently working on her upcoming project, Noraani Chehra.
In addition to her acting role in Do Patthi, Kriti has taken on the role of producer for the film, marking a significant step in her career. As she prepares for the release of Do Patthi, Kriti is excited about her evolving career and the opportunities ahead, both as an actress and now as a producer.
