Senthil, who is known for his collaboration with Rajamouli on blockbuster films like Baahubali, RRR, and Magadheera, clarified that he is currently focused on another major project, Swayambhoo, starring Nikhil as the lead. During the event, he addressed speculations about his involvement in the Mahesh Babu-Rajamouli film, stating, “I am not working on the Mahesh-Rajamouli movie. When asked about rumors suggesting a fallout between him and Rajamouli, Senthil Kumar dismissed the claims, saying, “There is no issue between us. We have a great relationship, and just because we are not working on the same film doesn’t mean our bond is affected. We’ve had instances in the past where we didn’t collaborate on a film, and there were no problems.”
Senthil Kumar has been a key member of Rajamouli’s team for many years, working as the cinematographer on films like Sye, Chhatrapati, Yamadonga, Eega, Baahubali, and RRR, earning a reputation for his exceptional camera work. The upcoming film, tentatively titled Garuda and reportedly set in the Amazon rainforest, will showcase a completely new world, according to screenwriter Vijayendra Prasad. The film is expected to feature several international actors, and cinematographer P.S. Vinod is reportedly working on the project.
