Bollywood actress Kiara Advani has spoken about continuing her film shoots while she was pregnant and how she managed work and health at the same time. The actress revealed that she was filming for major projects until her seventh month of pregnancy, keeping the news private on set except for a few key people.
Kiara said that only her director and producer knew about her pregnancy during the shoots. She chose to keep it quiet so that work could go on smoothly without special treatment or disruption. Despite the physical and emotional demands, she made sure to take care of herself and her unborn baby throughout the filming process.
The actress shared that shooting emotional scenes was especially challenging. Before performing such scenes, she would take a moment alone to calm herself and reassure her baby. She said she would gently speak to her unborn child, explaining that what was happening on screen was only acting. These quiet moments helped her stay emotionally balanced during long and tiring days.
Kiara also spoke about the strong support system around her. Her husband, actor Sidharth Malhotra, along with her mother and close team members, stood by her during this phase. Their encouragement helped her manage stress and maintain her routine while working.
Addressing comments and discussions online about her working when Kiara Advani was pregnant, clarified that she took all necessary precautions. She emphasised that her baby’s safety was always her top priority and that she would not have continued shooting if it had affected her health.
After welcoming her daughter, named Saraayah, Kiara has taken some time off to focus on motherhood. She described motherhood as a deeply emotional and life-changing experience. Simple moments, such as holding her baby or watching her sleep, have brought her immense joy.
On the professional front, Kiara is preparing to return to films. She will be seen in the upcoming movie Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, where she plays an important role. The actress said motherhood has given her a new perspective and made her more thoughtful about the roles she chooses in the future.
