Actress Kavya Thapar is set to showcase her talent in the upcoming film “Vishwam”, which blends action with an innovative storyline. Following her recent success with Double iSmart, she is ready to entertain audiences once again, this time alongside Gopichand in a film directed by Srinu Vaitla, scheduled for release on October 11. Thapar shared her insights about the film during a press conference in Hyderabad on Sunday.
When asked about the film’s unique narrative, Kavya expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “When Sreenu Vaitla narrated the story, I found it to be very different and intriguing. My role in this film is entirely new, which is why I eagerly agreed to be a part of it.” She emphasized that the humor within the film is naturally integrated into the storyline rather than feeling forced. The film features a diverse ensemble cast, including approximately 16 comedians, but Kavya assured that every character holds significance on screen, as crafted by director Srinu Vaitla.

In Vishwam, Kavya plays a stylish costume designer who also carries a grey shade in her character, often bringing a smile to the audience. “This role is glamorous, which adds a layer of complexity to my performance, making it a challenge for me,” she explained. The film also features Naresh and Pragathi in entertaining roles as her family members, particularly highlighting a unique train episode that promises to engage viewers.
Discussing her career, Kavya reflected, “Success and failure are part of every actor’s journey, and I cannot control those outcomes. What I can control is whether I do full justice to my role.” She is committed to giving her best effort, stating, “I’ll work hard to ensure I fulfill my character’s potential; the rest is up to God.” While Kavya has primarily played glamorous roles so far, she expressed a desire to explore a broader range of characters, including psycho killers and supernatural roles. “I want to take on challenging roles that push my boundaries. I have already signed three new projects, and details will be announced soon, with more stories currently under discussion,” she added.
The production of Vishwam involved shooting in stunning locations, including Italy, Himachal Pradesh, and Manali. Kavya shared some of the challenges faced during filming, such as working in extreme weather conditions, from sub-zero temperatures to high heat. Additionally, she had to perform physically demanding tasks like mountain climbing, which she described as both challenging and rewarding. “All these experiences helped me build the courage to take on this film. It has been an incredible journey for me,” she concluded.
As Vishwam approaches its release date, fans are eagerly anticipating Kavya Thapar’s performance in this action-comedy that promises to offer both excitement and entertainment.
