Kannada star actor Darshan Thogudeepa has been arrested and sent to 6-day police custody. Going into the details, he has been arrested for his alleged involvement in murder of Renukaswamy. He reportedly made derogatory comments on actress Pavithra Gowda and was found dead in a stormwater drain.
Bengaluru Police Commissioner B Dayananda talking to press stated that they registered case after finding body and conducting autopsy. Eleven suspects have been arrested and they gave statements against Darshan and Pavithra. Using their statements, police arrested them both in the case.
As the body was found at a shed at Pattanagere, Kamakshipalya police have strong suspicion against Darshan. The shed belongs to one of the associates of the actor and police have been investigating further into his active involvement in the murder and conspiracy.
Police arrested Darshan from Mysuru hotel and brought him to question about his involvement. Victim Renukaswamy was an employee in a pharmaceutical company. Police have evidence that Darshan warned Renukaswamy after he made derogatory comments. Did he further conspired to kill him? We have to wait and see.
