Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan starrer sci-fi actioner Kalki 2898 AD has witnessed a significant jump at the global box office on its second weekend. The film crossed the Rs 950+ crore milestone on its second Sunday. The movie collections have been huge and astonishing from the release day.
Now, the movie has crossed several expectations on second Sunday. This Nag Ashwin’s directorial has been sensational in core Hindi markets. Kalki 2898 AD attained another milestone with a 200 Cr+ gross in the Hindi market. It is expected to end up as the highest-grossing movie for the Hindi version very soon.
The second Saturday and Sunday numbers are huge in the domestic and global box office at similar level. Kalki 2898 AD amassed $16 Million+ in North America and is now the highest-grossing South Indian movie in North America (Non BB2). The movie could end up among Top 5 movies in North American market for all Indian movies, too.
In the ticketing portal BookMyShow Kalki 2898 AD sold over 1 Crore+ tickets till date. Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani starred in this movie along with the two stalwarts. Vyjayanti Movies produced the movie on a massive scale with a budget close to Rs.600 crores. Part -2 for the movie is in the mix and shooting for it will start soon.
