Kollywood actor Ravi Mohan, popularly known as Jayam Ravi, is reportedly facing a shocking situation as authorities have issued a notice to auction his house in Chennai’s Injambakkam area. The actor, famous for the Tamil film Jayam, had taken a substantial home loan from a private bank to purchase the property.
Sources say that although Jayam Ravi initially paid some installments, he has not cleared the loan for almost ten months. The unpaid amount has now reportedly risen to over ₹7.6 crore. As a result, the bank has issued multiple notices, and when there was no response, they moved forward with auction notices at his home and office. Some reports suggest that officials at his office even faced resistance from staff present there.
Currently, Jayam Ravi is not staying at the property. Following disputes with his wife, he recently filed for divorce and moved out, leaving his wife and two children in the house. This has sparked concern among netizens, with many asking what will happen to his family if the property is auctioned. Comments are flooding social media questioning where his wife and children will live if the house is seized.
Adding to the controversy, a production company, Touch Gold Universal, has made allegations against Jayam Ravi. They claimed that he accepted ₹6 crore for two films under their banner but later agreed to other projects. The company reportedly approached the bank seeking action against the actor’s property.
This issue has quickly become a hot topic in Kollywood media, with fans and the public closely following developments. While the actor has not made any official statement yet, questions about the welfare of his family and his next steps regarding the unpaid loan remain.
With the property auction notices issued, the situation around Jayam Ravi’s home and finances is under scrutiny, and many are waiting to see how the actor responds to protect his property and family.
