Guntur Kaaram is the third film from Superstar Mahesh Babu and writer-director Trivikram Srinivas combination. The combination has delivered cult classic films like Athadu and Khaleja. While Athadu became a considerable box office success, Khaleja did not. Now, the combination wants to deliver a memorable blockbuster.
Trivikram Srinivas has been able to deliver huge blockbuster with his previous film, Ala Vaikuntapurramuloo. Mahesh Babu’s previous film, Sarkaaru Vaari Paata, did not satisfy his fans as expected. Hence, he wanted to give a sure shot blockbuster with Trivikram. Also, his father Superstar Krishna, has been a huge mass hero in his prime. Unfortunately, legendary star Krishna passed away, recently.
Mahesh Babu wants to give a big tribute to his father with Guntur Kaaram. Hence, he has decided to make it a massy film like never before. Trivikram Srinivas also did not try a complete mass entertainer with family elements. He wants to try it with this film. So, they both have come on same page to make this their best mass film, ever.
Now, the movie has completed censor screening. They have been given U/A certification. According to the inside reports, last 45 minutes of the film are said to be highlight for the film. Also, Mahesh Babu has never been so energetic and dashing, on screen, say reports. The climax and pre-climax portions are said to be huge highlights for the film. Comedy portions and songs come at the right moment, say reports.
On 6th January, movie team is releasing movie trailer at Pre-release event. Sreeleela, Meenakshi Chaudhary are playing leading lady roles. Ramyakrishnan, Prakash Raj and several others are playing other important supporting roles. SS Thaman scored music for the film. Movie is set to release on 12th January, 2024 worldwide.
