The much-awaited period action film Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1—Sword vs. Spirit, starring Pawan Kalyan, has cleared the censor board with a U/A certificate. With this, all setup work for the film’s release is complete, and fans can now look forward to its grand arrival in cinemas on July 24.
Directed by Jyothi Krishna and originally started by Krish Jagarlamudi, the film presents Pawan Kalyan in a never-before-seen role—as a heroic freedom fighter who challenges the Mughal Empire. The story blends historical elements with fictional drama, offering a new cinematic experience.
The recently released trailer created a strong impact. Pawan’s intense performance, action scenes, and majestic look as Hari Hara Veera Mallu have gone viral on social media. Fans say his dialogues will bring loud cheers in theatres.
With the censor certificate now in hand, planning for benefit and premiere shows has begun. Though Pawan is busy with political work, he is likely to join the film’s promotions.
The film’s technical team includes top talent—music by M.M. Keeravani and visuals by cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa. The trailer shows grand production values, with high-quality editing and VFX. Bollywood actor Bobby Deol and actress Nidhhi Agerwal also play key roles.
Industry sources report strong business, with theatrical rights in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana expected to cross ₹140 crore. While a few distribution deals are still in progress, they are likely to be closed soon.
With censor clearance complete with a U/A certificate and excitement running high, Hari Hara Veera Mallu is all set to make a strong impact at the box office later this month.
