The final day of shooting is just around the corner for Swayambhu, Telugu actor Nikhil Siddhartha’s most ambitious film yet. This big-budget historical drama is being made as a pan-India project and is expected to be a milestone in Nikhil’s career.

After gaining nationwide fame with Karthikeya 2, Nikhil chose his next films carefully. However, Spy and 18 Pages didn’t perform well at the box office. With Swayambhu, he hopes to make a powerful comeback.

In Swayambhu, Nikhil plays a warrior—his most challenging role so far. To prepare, he trained in horse riding and martial arts for eight months. He also worked with RRR’s stunt choreographer, King Solomon, for 45 days to perfect his action scenes.

Now, the film is nearly complete, with just one day of shooting left. That final part will be filmed once senior actor Rajendra Prasad is available.

Despite the shoot wrapping up soon, the film’s release may be delayed. Swayambhu includes a large amount of CGI and VFX, which will take time to finish during post-production.

The film is directed by Bharat Krishnamachari and produced by Tagore Madhu. Actresses Samyuktha Menon and Nabha Natesh will be seen in important roles.

With huge expectations and a massive production scale, Swayambhu is seen as a key step in Nikhil’s goal to become a pan-India star once again.
