A die-hard Shah Rukh Khan fan attempted multiple ways to sneak into the superstar’s iconic Mumbai residence, Mannat, only to be left disappointed.
The fan, determined to meet the Bollywood megastar, initially approached the mansion’s main gate but was stopped by security. Despite waiting for hours and pleading with the guards, he was firmly denied entry. Unwilling to give up, he tried sneaking in through the back entrance, but again the vigilant security team turned him away.
Not ready to accept defeat at meeting Shah Rukh Khan, the fan came up with a bizarre idea. He disguised himself as a food delivery boy, even placing an online order for cold coffees to make his act look convincing. Borrowing the delivery bike, he rode up to Mannat and insisted that the order had to be delivered urgently inside. However, the guards were not fooled and stopped him once again. Suspicious of his repeated attempts, the security team began questioning his true intentions.
It was then revealed that Shah Rukh Khan and his family were not even living in Mannat at present. The star had temporarily moved out months ago, renting a property owned by producer Jackky Bhagnani’s family, while Mannat underwent extensive renovation and expansion. Interestingly, the renovations have also sparked controversy, with neighbours alleging that the expansion violates coastal regulation zone (CRZ) rules.
This incident has once again highlighted security concerns surrounding celebrity homes in Mumbai. Despite tight security, breaches continue to occur — from a man stabbing actor Saif Ali Khan years ago to Salman Khan repeatedly being targeted by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Shah Rukh’s Mannat too has faced several trespassing cases in the past, with overzealous fans finding ways to slip past security.
While the fan’s antics created a moment of drama, they also underscored the lengths to which admirers will go to meet their idols. For now, however, Mannat remains out of reach, with security on high alert as renovations continue.
